A few weeks ago, I met a handful of lovely ladies at the Trump for a boudoir marathon. I guess you could say this was my coming-out-of-boudoir-retirement shoot, as I stopped doing boudoir marathons a couple of years ago.

However, with some mild arm twisting, I was convinced to do a shoot just in time for Valentine’s Day.

I always forget how fun it is to play dress up, feel sexy, drink champagne, and gossip with a bunch of ladies. Let’s be honest: we pretend that these shoots are for our significant others, but they are really for us, too! And that’s exactly how it should be.

Here are some smokin’ hot sneak peeks from some very brave and beautiful ladies. Whether you like to be sporty or sultry, the girl next door or a total vixen, I hope we all take some time out to feel this good about ourselves!

This is the season of boudoir! Gals want to have a gift to give their husbands-to-be right before the wedding, and boudoir shoots seem to be the perfect choice.

So, here are some lovely–albeit NSFW–shots from my marathon a couple of weeks ago at the Trump International Hotel! As always, we had a great time. And, as always, girls emailed me afterwards saying, “Thank you for making that SO fun! I was freaking out, but you actually made it easy.”

I have another shoot coming up in mid-May, and then my next marathon isn’t until August 18th. If you’re interested in having some photos too, shoot me an email!

Also, I want to give a shout-out t0 Melissa from Sonia Roselli for doing hair and make-up for the 1389th time. You’re the best!

The week of Valentine’s Day seems like an appropriate time to share some photos from my last boudoir marathon. As usual, I had a great group of gals, and the shoot was a total blast. To quote one of the gals, “All I can say is WOW!  I just finished my boudoir session with Danielle and she was the most professional and easy going photographer I have ever met. From the second I walked in the hotel, I felt like I was preparing for a Victoria’s Secret photo shoot.”

And that is EXACTLY the experience I want all of my boudoir gals to have. That’s why I always shoot at the Trump International Hotel. That’s why I’ll only work with some of the best make-up artists in Chicago. That’s why I make sure they have a glass of champagne in their hand the minute they walk in the door. ;)

Thank you to the gals who let me share these photos. You are all beautiful, and I hope that’s what you take away (not just the pictures).
