Molly and Ryan had a beautiful wedding yesterday at Holy Family, and it was capped off by a reception at ARTRevolution.
I met Molly and her girls at the Park Hyatt and spent some time with them as they got ready. After a first look downtown, we all headed to the area around the Kinzie St. bridge for photos before the ceremony. The forecast called for rain and, as soon as we stepped off of the bus, I felt raindrops. I tried to hide my panic, as I knew how badly Molly wanted outdoor photos. Luckily, within just a few minutes, the rain stopped, and we had a perfectly dry shoot!
I was so happy to be able to capture the wedding day for such a kind and humble couple. Here are some sneak peeks, which I hope bring a smile to Molly and Ryan’s mini-moon!
Can you believe these shoes?!
Love this shot of Molly as she finished getting dressed. (I also loved that, rather than waiting for someone to come put her shoes on for her, she just sat down while everyone was chatting and put them on herself.)
Another amazing first look. Loved these reactions!
What a lovely couple!
The wedding party wasn’t too bad, either! (And thanks, girls, for braving the bridge’s grated service in heels just so we could get this shot!)
Molly was STUNNING!
Ceremony time!
Molly’s little niece kept busy with her coloring book during the ceremony. So cute!
The church–and the wedding party–were beautiful.
And a shot from the cupcake cutting! (Ryan proposed to Molly with cupcakes. So, having them at their wedding was a no-brainer!)
What beautiful pictures for a memorable event that we will always treasure.
