October 7, 2010   |   wedding

Catherine and Craig’s wedding at the Trump International Hotel wasn’t my usual event. I wasn’t with them all day long. We hadn’t done engagement photos. We didn’t have tons of time for portraits. They had a romantic and intimate evening ceremony, and my job was to spend a few hours trying to capture it. And I’m so glad I did! This was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve ever shot. The candles, the white flowers, the view of Chicago. Every single detail was perfect. After the ceremony, we went out to the Trump’s terrace and shot a few photos in the city light. It was very dark, very cold, and unbelievably windy. However, these two were champs. They weren’t going to let anything ruin the romance. I hope the photos show a bit of that devotion.

We shot some portraits of Catherine in her suite.

GORGEOUS!

Craig didn’t look too shabby, either.

The ceremony aisle was lined with candles.

The view from the ceremony/reception room.

Love this light.

Cat did a costume change before I left. How cute is she?
