This past weekend, I photographed the wedding of Ariane and Matt. These two probably look familar; we just shot their engagement photos last week! All week, I was checking the forecast and, to my dismay, they were predicting a 70% chance of thunderstorms. Though it did rain off and on, the weather cooperated just enough for us to get plenty of photographs. After the wedding, we had several hours to shoot. Since their reception was at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville, we did photos at Cantigny. Ariane had planned a BEAUTIFUL day full of feminine, colorful details. It was a blast to shoot. Here are some of my favorites.
Love this shot of Ariane and her girls:

LOVED the colors and contrast:
No, I didn’t tell Matt to do this. I just turned around and he was carrying his bride over the puddles. Adorable!
Great light, here:
These portraits are my favorite shots of the day:
Yes, I’ve been ignoring the elephant in the room. Ariane’s dress/shoes were FANTASTIC. Can you say pink tulle?
A few details from the reception:
How cool are these place cards?
Ariane’s dad gave one of the best toasts I’ve ever heard:
