Claire and Max hired me to shoot their April wedding just a couple of weeks ago, and we got a move on scheduling their engagement session. Since winter in Chicago is so unpredictable, we wanted to capitalize on the unusually warm–and beautiful–fall that we’re having!
So, we met at the Alfred Caldwell lily pond in Lincoln Park. This is a spot where these two of spent lots of time, and it’s right next to North Pond, which is arguably the most gorgeous spot during fall in Chicago.
From the very first photo (which is the one above), I knew it was going to be an awesome shoot. Claire and Max are so effortlessly chic and comfortable in front of the camera. They made my job easy!
Here are some sneak peeks from our shoot together.
LOOOOOOVE these two!
We shot right before sunset, and I had fun playing with the gorgeous light!
