Let’s be honest: shooting weddings is HARD. Usually, I leave a wedding limping and exhausted (and I’m not kidding). However, sometimes, the energy in the room is so positive that I actually leave dancing. Courtney and Andrew’s Newberry Library wedding had this kind of energy. Everyone involved was full of joy; everyone was truly happy to be there. These are the kinds of weddings that remind me why I love being a photographer. Not to mention, I got to work with some of the best vendors in Chicago (Cynthia Sally, Kristen from Kio Kreations and Spencer from Style Matters DJ). Being around great vendors always makes the day go more smoothly!
Courtney’s niece was a flower girl. They told her to “spin” in her dress:
Maybe my favorite shoe shot(s) ever:
LOVED how colorful everything was:
Courtney and Andrew chose to do a first look. Later, she came up to me and said, “I’m so glad we did that. I feel so much better.”
These two had a GREAT wedding party. I have to give them some blog love:
And a couple sweet moments from the ceremony:
