Katie & Dan :: LaPorte, IN Wedding

WARNING: There’s lots  and lots of cuteness ahead. Like, so much giggling cuteness you may not be able to handle it. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

All of this cuteness took place this past Saturday in LaPorte, IN. Katie and Dan were had their wedding ceremony and reception at Allure–an amazing venue! These two were so fun to work with. I know I say this all of the time, but you really couldn’t find two nicer people. I mean, look at these photos. Can’t you just tell that this is the sweetest couple on the face of the planet?

Not only are they adorable, but they are also ideal photos clients. They were up for anything. They never said “no.” And they had scouted out shooting spots in La Porte before the date (more on that later). All of these things make my job easier. And, if you don’t mind my saying so, I think they also make the photos come out pretty dang awesome, too.

Congrats, Katie and Dan! I adore you two.

As I mentioned, Allure is a really cool venue. One of the things I loved most about it was the bridal suite. It was HUGE and full of light. There was an exposed brick wall and gigantic mirrors. A photog’s dream!

How gorgeous is Katie?

Right before I took this photo, Katie’s dad said–after seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time–“There are no words.”

We did a first look. Because it was so hot outside, we just did it inside. I love this shot.

Katie and Dan found an antique shop in LaPorte that let us come in for photos. It was AWESOME. I love trying something new like this.

LOVE this.

Because we had plenty of time for portraits (woot, woot), we were able to hit up a second location.

Next… the ceremony!

Dan was quite emotional when Katie was walking down the aisle. Proof that a first look doesn’t “ruin the moment.”

I caught this shot as the newlyweds got to the end of the aisle. They were very emotional, and I even teared up a bit. After this, Katie went into the ugly cry. (I’ll be nice and won’t post those photos.) 😉

Their beautiful reception space. The professional lighting adds so much to this room!

One last bit of cuteness (as if you needed more).
