Leah and Brian

This past Saturday, I shot my last wedding of 2010. I can’t believe a whole year of weddings has already come and gone! And I can’t tell you how happy I am that my last wedding was Leah and Brian’s. These two just ooze kindness. Honestly, I don’t think they have a mean bone in them. Not only were they wonderful, but their wedding was amazing, too. There were so many beautiful details. When I say that your wedding should have a cohesive feel (think colors, theme, textures), this is exactly what I mean. Leah really wanted her day to feel natural and organic. She used lots of greenery and subsituted moss, ferns and feathers for flowers. This was one of the most gorgeous weddings I’ve shot, and I’m so happy to end 2010 on this very happy note.

LOVED this flower detail on her dress.

Leah was so excited when she first saw her bouquet. I think that is when it clicked.

The guys wore brown suits. They were PERFECT.

It was really important to Leah that I got Brian’s reaction when she first started walking down the aisle. “He won’t cry,” she said. “He’s not that emotional.” She was totally wrong.

There were lots of sweet whispers during the ceremony. I love this moment.

They were lead out by bagpipes.

The flower girls were adorable.

We went to the reception site for portraits. We did photos right before sunset, and it made for the most creamy light. LOVED it.

GORGEOUS.

Love this shot I caught while we were walking (and Brian was golf carting) to a photo spot.

Again, could’ve died for this light.

The reception details were–like everything else–so thoughtful. Leah hung all of their RSVP cards along the wall.

And they made this breathtaking terrarium for the guest card table.

One last shot. In the middle of her dance with her dad, Leah surprised him with a Sesame Street song they used to sing when she was little. It was a very sweet moment.
