Meredith and Brian

When I’m not wearing my photographer’s hat, I’m busy being a teacher. It’s a job I whole-heartedly adore. As a teacher, I love when my students come to class prepared; I love when they’ve done their homework and their research. Today, Meredith and Brian were the perfect students. They showed up to the engagement session ready to work! Meredith had obviously spent tons of time reading my past blog entries and looking at photographs. As Tyra Banks would say, she “worked it.” They were up for anything, and I was so inspired! We started the shoot in their neighborhood, and their puppy joined us. After that, we headed to Montrose harbor. I haven’t shot at that location in a really long time and I’d forgotten how much I love it. Here are some of my favorite shots from the shoot.

What a cute pup!

Love these two. Couldn’t choose, so I’m posting both!

AMAZING light:

See what I mean? Meredith is A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!

We were at the lake in time for a lovely sunset.

There were three people in the shoot: Brian, Meredith and Boots.
